Hello all,

I've decided to start a blog about doing little girls hair since it is something that I love and something that I do EVERY morning.
To begin, let me tell you a little about my family!
My husband and I have two kids. A seven-year-old son and a five year old daughter.

I had been doing hair professionally for quite awhile. However, when we moved to a different state temporarily, I didn't want to get a new state license for just a short amount of time. I decided to take a break from professional hair while we were here. My daughter, though, is the age where her hair is just the right thickness and length to do all kinds of fun stuff, so I keep my skills in practice. I always get the famous question "How did you do that?" from a lot of people, so I thought I'd share.

I started this blog to help those moms who have a hard time doing their little girls hair and need some easy tips and ideas to make their daughters look done up for school or church. I probably won't have many fancy things here, like some other great blogs out there have; this will show the more simple and easy ways that I find to get hair done. I will also have some hair tips every once in awhile that I personally use. If any of you have any tips or different ways that you do things, please comment; it REALLY helps!

Flips and Wormy Twists

I think this is my favorite hairstyle lately, I've been doing different variations of it a lot this past month, so I thought I would post some.
You start off by doing the 3 flips on the top center.
(sorry some of the pictures are a little fuzzy)
Then put the hair in a ponytail.
After that I did a reverse flip on the ponytail.
Then I took small sections and just twisted them tight to make them curl weird on each other and secured the ends on the top of the twists so they cascade out.

Flip Net

This hair-do is similar to a few that I already have; I did it a little different today because I was in a hurry but it still turned out cute.
I started with parting in from ear to ear about 2" thick (give or take).
Then I parted it into 5 sections.

On each section I did the regular flips.

Then I took another section from ear to ear about 2" thick again.
I then took 4 sections splitting the ponytails in half to add to the four.

Then I started running out of time so I just split the 4 ponytails in half to make 3 little ponytails (I didn't do flips with that section), after that I took the 3 ponytails and make one.

I put some curls at the bottom and a bow for the last ponytail.

Sorry about some of these pictures they are a little fuzzy.

Rows of Flips

This hair do is really easy and fast.
What I did is part off a rectangle on the top of the head.
Then part it in the middle.

After it's parted in the middle, I parted 3 sections on each side and did a flip on the front section, then take the tail of that flip and add it to the other ect...

After I have 3 flips on each side, I added them together and put in a cute bow and some curls at the bottom.
